This is uncanny...I remember seeing something about ReMarkable a few weeks ago!! E-ink is a pretty interesting technology. Though I have heard that ordinary e-ink displays have slow refresh speeds, so does the SuperNote Nomad have better performance?
The refresh rate is pretty close to what you’re used to with standard e-ink devices, maybe even faster on the latest e-ink models (like Boox). Of course, it all depends on what you’re doing. Supernote lets you refresh manually, which, in my opinion, adds a touch of smoothness to the performance.
If we give e-ink tech a few more years, we might be getting speedier responses and maybe moving pictures (since color eink is now evolving). ;)
