I had never heard of E-ink before reading your posts, so I am super happy you have introduced me to this option! It'll be on my radar for possible art supplies to try in the future!!
I really was thinking of getting an e-ink tablet. But I just felt silly because I already have an ipad. Thank you for the review. I was looking at the remarkable tablet because they released a new model, lots of people are selling their old one when they go to upgrade.
The iPad is definitely an all-rounder. But I guess some people lean toward e-ink for those long-term benefits, like battery life and the eye-friendly display (which I totally needed!). And as for people selling their old remarkable models, it's understandable, since it’s been almost four years since their last release. Honestly, I’d be excited to upgrade too! :D
I'm going to be honest, this piqued my curiosity for e-ink, though I think I'll give it a year or 2 for all the quality of life features to be implemented first.
Agreed! The e-ink tech is rapidly progressing (colors has been implemented this year), so maybe in about 2-3 years its capabilities then will have more people interested in it :D
The size of a nomad seems great for field notes / sketches, but after some measurements I found out my daily cross-body purse seemed to be SLIGHTLY smaller than the nomad, which is a bummer. (It barely fits my kindle oasis)
I’m just curious on how you’d carried yours around?
Always happy to answer odd questions (which isn't odd at all btw!) :D
For long excursions, like visiting cafes or park to draw, I like to use my square shoulder bag (from Uniqlo) which fits my Nomad perfectly. Most of the time, I just carry by hand since it's tucked inside a thick sketchbook case.

Glad to share! :D

Odd question on an old post but-
