You never fail to come up with the best stories!! I love that the little baybeh crows protect their own!

Again, cannot stress how much I love this. Also I have to ask because I’ve been drooling over them- for the cost do you find the SN worth it? It’s such a steep price but I have a wee neurological disorder that’s completely changed how I art and I’m deeply considering it.

For me, it was definitely worth it! Agreed, the price is steep (they're called luxury devices for a reason), and it's more geared towards note-taking than doing art, so the limitations are real. But I actually enjoy the challenge.

Questions you can consider before buying: Can I adapt to the limited drawing tools of this device? Do I mind ghosting (which is common in e-ink devices)? Am I willing to adjust my workflow?

I have a whole section dedicated to my E-ink Journey on my page if you're interested about my in-depth thoughts. Feel free to check it out! And definitely weigh your reasons (and do your research!) before investing on it :D

Many thanks! The limitations are actually a huge plus for the new way my brain works which is the initial reason I considered it. It’ll give your posts a deep dive once I collect a bit of my attention span. 💕 Thanks for the advice!

I apologize if I missed it, but which e-ink device do you use for your sketches?

No prob :) for this one I used the Supernote Manta. But I usually prefer sketching on my smaller device, Supernote Nomad.

I had read everything from right to left like a manga. [facepalm] "Prepared to be pecked to death" is quite the royal threat! So Prince Doormat turns himself into an albino crow so that he can finally exert the power he doesn't have in court. Is that right?

I'd love to know what emotions Loula goes through, I hope to see them more in the next episode! (If you intend to make one of course, no pressure).

Haha, i’m flattered that you read it in manga format, since I typically draw graphic novels in western style. And yes, you nailed the story! The Prince rather command his loyal legions of crow minions than go back to his old court life. XD

These are all just experimental stories, but it would be fun to develop the characters further, especially Loula. ;)

Love your art style! I’d read a whole series about a Raven King either way

What method did you use to screen record the SuperNote? I was thinking about trying something involving casting and OBS.

Supernote has an in-built screen mirroring feature using a url address. I simply casted it to my iPad Pro and recorded the screen.

Ah good to know that my casting plan works! I’ve only doodled one thing, but recording may come in handy at some point.
